Heal a Broken World in Lovely Hellplace’s Morrowind-like RPG Dread Delusion, Out Now with Launch Trailer

After nearly two years in Early Access, Lovely Hellplace's retro Morrowind-like RPG Dread Delusion has officially launched in 1.0 with new story content, balance changes, and more. Players can now complete their journey through the strange lands of Oneiric Isles, taking on new challenges in The Underlands and The Cradle. With its heavy focus on exploration and classic dark fantasy aesthetics, Dread Delusion exudes early Elder Scrolls vibes, so if you're itching for some late '90s and early 2000s gameplay, this could be the time machine you've been searching for (albeit a spooky, post-apocalyptic one).

Those who have been following and playing Dread Delusion in Early Access will notice all the big changes that have arrived with its launch. The starting area has been completely revamped, featuring a new region and a fully updated tutorial for newcomers to this open-world fantasy title. Along with embarking on new main story quests and side quests, players can also sail the skies of the Oneric Isles (literally) in their very own airship, which will allow them to take their adventures to two new large islands: Shipwreck Isle and Godward Island. Due to the number of changes and new content in Dread Delusion's 1.0 version, previous save data has been wiped, as legacy save files couldn't be supported.

For the uninitiated, Dread Delusion is an RPG that allows you to carve your own path, explore curious towns, speak with locals, and wield weapons that will help you on the dangerous journey to come. In this world, humanity is living on floating islands in the sky, as the land below is cursed and inhospitable. Will you heal the world or choose to profit from its dire state? That's up to you to decide.

Dread Delusion is available now on PC via Steam.
