Achievement hunters rejoice; your hard work amassing a colossal Gamerscore is about to pay off, literally.
As part of their existing Xbox Rewards program, Microsoft have announced MyAchievements, giving Xbox Live Gold subscribers the chance of a monthly rebate on all their Marketplace purchases.
MyAchievements is split into three tiers:
- Contender - 3000-9999 Gamerscore - A Special Gift during your birthday month
- Champion - 10000-24999 Gamerscore - A Special Gift during your birthday month, and 1% rebate on your Xbox Live Marketplace purchases every month.
- Legend - 25000+ Gamerscore - A Special Gift during your birthday month, and 2% rebate on your Xbox Live Marketplace purchases every month.
There's no confirmation on what exactly the "special gift" will consist of, but the small print notes that it will have a value of around 15 pence.
