Originally proposed as a digital download only title, Insomniac announced on the US PlayStation Blog that they now plan to release retail versions. This title will also take advantage of Sony's Cross Buy promotion, meaning those that buy the PS3 version will also get a free Vita copy, not too shabby.
The title will be released on the 27th of November in North America, and although there is no official release date for Europe, Insomniac insist it should be very close to that of the American version.
Even better news for fans of the series is that you can play competitively across both platforms, so if you ever wanted to shoot somebody on your 42" TV whilst they are sat on the toilet, now you can. It seems co-op will not support this feature however.
