After six years, Cross of the Dutchman hits Steam Greenlight!

It is nice to see that despite hardships Triangle Studios has gotten their game on Steam Greenlight. The game itself has no fantasy creatures nor fictional gimmicks and is based of a old 16th century Western European folk legend.

The release of the game is scheduled for September of this year, exactly 500 years after the historical events around the main character of the game took place. Cross of the Dutchman will be available for players on PC and Mac.

Players take the role of Pier, a simple man who gets intangled between the battle of native Frisians and Saxon invaders. Through the events portrayed in the game, Pier transforms from being a humble farmer into the commander of a rebel army in this top-down action game.
