Studio Wildcard is bringing desert harshness into their prehistoric survival game, ARK: Survival Evolved in their first expansion pack on both PC and Xbox One, Scorched Earth. It's an expansion pass that resets your progress? Or is it like Star Trek Online, which sees you creating a new character, leaving your old character's progress alone?

With it being a new map I expect it'll be server based so, seperate character progress? I'm not 100% on how ARK works in regards to that honestly.

I read that a player with the DLC can tame one of the DLC-only dragons on the new map, and move it to the non-DLC maps with non-DLC players. Not sure how accurate that statement was, but if it's true that's really broken.
