Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Released For Android

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, Beamdog's mobile version of the 1998 classic RPG, has arrived on the Android platform this week. The title has been available to iOS users since 2012, but until now an Android version has not been forthcoming.

The game offers players the chance to carry the original 60 hour adventure with them along with the Tales of the Sword Coast and The Black Pits expansions. There are also further expansions available through in-app purchases including extra quests, character portraits and voice sets.

Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition boasts improvements in the interface, higher resolution fonts and dynamic zooming over the original. According to Beamdog's website, it will require Android 4.0 or later and a 5 inch or larger screen to play. It is available now priced £6.99/$9.99.
