Bastion Gameplay Preview for Overwatch

Blizzard has released another gameplay preview video for Overwatch, this time focusing on Bastion the robot. The game takes place on King's Row, a map that should be quite familiar to readers who have been following the gameplay previews released faithfully.

Bastion is on offense, and its (his? her?) skills are quite versatile, allowing it to switch between two modes initially: the recon mode allows it to move fast and is armed with a sub-machine gun; the sentry gun mode deploys it at a spot with a shield and allows the use of a bullet-spewing Gatling gun. It is with this that Bastion's team is able to push effectively on the offensive whenever a choke point is encountered, so it is not just limited to defensive uses.

The last mode, the ultimate, turns Bastion into a tank firing high explosive shells for a limited amount of time, especially devastating in close quarters like rockets.

On top of all these, Bastion possesses the ability to repair itself at the cost of not being able to use its weapons, which is quite useful as a utility skill for a ranged character.
