Bethesda Confirms Prey 2 is Officially Cancelled

Bethesda have officially announced that Prey 2 has been cancelled following a long line of delays since the games announcement back in 2011.

Bethesda President, Pete Hines told CNET:

"It wasn't up to our quality standard and we decided to cancel it. It's no longer in development. That wasn't an easy decision, but it's one that won't surprise many folks given that we hadn't been talking about it.

The games trailer at E3 2011 showed promise pitting players as an amnesic U.S Marshall who being abducted by aliens would turn into a bounty hunter on the alien world of Exodus.
