Bethesda Detail Pip-Boy Phone Compatibility
Bethesda have given more information regarding what phones will be compatible with their Pip-Boy later this year. As well as the iPhone 6, the device will be work with an iPhone 5/5s, iPhone 4/4S, Samsung Galaxy 5, and Samsung Galaxy 4.
There will also be a customisable phone insert which should cater for a wider range of phones.
The wearable device, which will come with the Pip-Boy special edition version of Fallout 4, will do all the things your in-game Pip-Boy with from the comfort of your own wrist.
Until now however, it had only been confirmed that this device would be compatible with iPhones, that is until over the weekend Bethesda made those without the Apple phones relieved that their purchase wasn't in vein.
Bethesda did confirm though that those with larger phones would have to make do with the companion app rather than the full Pip-Boy:
"We wanted to stay faithful to the dimensions of the in-game model, any smartphones larger than the models listed will not fit inside the wearable device. For these larger devices, our Pip-Boy companion app will still be available."
Fallout 4 will release on 10th November on PC, PS4 and Xbox One following it's announcement at this year's E3.
