Destiny Website Revamped and New Info Added

Futuristic, science-fiction, action-shooter Destiny has had an update to its website and with it, brings us new information about the upcoming title.

Destiny is a MMO first-person shooter set in our future, where a mysterious being known as The Traveler has allowed humans to colonise Mars and Venus. A catastrophe befalls our own world however, and all that remains is the last city on the planet, built in the shadow of the now dormant Traveler. Players find themselves playing across landscapes of Earth, the Moon, Venus and Mars, battling against alien races and playing as one of three main classes of Guardian, each with many customisation opportunities.

The new website includes a back story, more information about classes, environments and alien races and screenshots as well as three new videos teasing game play for each of the classes; Titan, Warlock and Hunter.

Destiny is due for release on September 9. A PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 beta is expected in the summer. There will also be a public beta for Xbox 360 and Xbox One but a date has yet to be announced. Players can guarantee access to the public betas by preordering the game.
