Elite Dangerous: Horizons Required Specs Revealed
The first major update to Elite Dangerous, also known as "season 2", is to be with us soon. The update will bring with it a host of new features such as planetery landing, multiple-player controlled ships and customer character creation. To get fans ready, the minimum and required specs for the game have been released.

Graphics: Nvidia GTX 470 / AMD 7240 (DirectX11 functionality required)

OS: Windows 7/8/10 64 bit
Processor: Intel Core i7-3770K Quad Core CPU or better / AMD FX 4350 Quad Core CPU or better
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: Nvidia GTX 770 / AMD Radeon R9 280X or better
Network Broadband Internet Connection
Hard Drive: 8 GB available space
The requirements to play in 4K or using a VR system haven't yet been revealed however they will follow shortly.

That's a HUGE gap between min and max... I just eek in at the minimum, luckily. Especially since I preordered...
