Fallout 4 S.P.E.C.I.A.L Video Series - Charisma

In the next instalment of highly informative S.P.E.C.I.A.L videos from Bethesda Softworks, we learn all about Charisma and how it will work in Fallout 4.

In general charisma has been used in RPGs in the past to boost diplomacy, help when bartering and even make people like you more when you first meet. It looks like Bethesda have thrown in some really creative ways to boost that stat's usefulness. We have the more normal perk of better negotiation with salespeople and NPCs and starting of on the right foot when meeting new folk, but now we also have the added bonus of not becoming addicted to drugs/drink as our less-charismatic friends. In fact, now, even animals will react according to your charisma score.
