Before it even hits US cinemas on October 19 and despite a largely negative reaction from critics, planning is already underway to produce a sequel to Rob Cohen's upcoming crime thriller Alex Cross. Loosely based on James Patterson's 12th Alex Cross novel titled Cross, the film stars Tyler Perry, Rachel Nichols and Matthew Fox.
The proposed sequel will be an adaptation of Patterson's 'Double Cross', the 13th book in the series, with Perry returning as the lead character.
Alex Cross is set for release in the UK on November 30.
