After rumours that director Marc Webb would not return for the sequel to this summers Spider-Man reboot, The Amazing Spider-Man, he has now signed on to helm the project.
Set to begin shooting in early 2013 with an expected release date of May, 2014, Andrew Garfield will return as the webslinging superhero with Emma Stone in talks to reprise her role as Gwen Stacy.
