Set to join characters Peter Parker (played by Andrew Garfield) and Gwen Stacy (Emma Stone) in the sequel to one of the summer's big hits, The Amazing Spider-Man, is Mary Jane Watson.
Sony are in early talks with Shailene Woodley (The Descendents, The Secret Life Of The American Teenager) to take on the role of Peter Parker's love interest which was previously played by Kirsten Dunst in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.
They are also looking to cast Harry Osborn (played by James Franco in the Raimi films) in the film which will see Marc Webb return as director.
