While The Inbetweeners Movie was intended to be the final chapter to the characters from the popular TV series, after the films success it should come as no surprise, despite constant denials, that a sequel is now in the works.
Damon Beesley, one of the writers for both the series and film, confirmed in a recent interview with The Sun that they will be going ahead with the sequel and that they will start when they can "make sure that we can do justice to a follow-up", also adding "We miss working with Simon, Joe, James and even Blake too much not to give it a go."

In relation to the UK movie - YAY! Awesome news, even if I didn't watch it till it came to DVD it'll still be good, had some rather amusing moments.
The Inbetweeners USA trailer...
It would have been ok had they not used the exact script the original Inbetweeners used. So much British humour, and scenarios that just dont translate well to a high school
Not only that, but they really messed up on the characters too, Neil for example is literally mentally disabled in the American one, Uk one, hes just a bit simple.
On topic however, looking forward to the film! I love the TV series and really enjoyed the first film
