Free Fallout 3 On Xbox One Comes With A Catch
At their E3 Media Briefing, Microsoft revealed that Xbox One users would receive Fallout 3 for free when purchasing its successor, Fallout 4.
As it transpires, there are a few major caveats. As it stands, this offer is only available to those who pre-order on the Xbox Store, meaning that those picking up a physical copy are not eligible.
The biggest issue however, affects those living in the United Kingdom. While the digital price of Fallout 4 is $60 in the States, the same price as the physical version, the Xbox Store in the UK lists Fallout 4 at £60; £17 more expensive than its physical counterpart.
Second hand copies of Fallout 3 aren't exactly hard to find, and it's unlikely that they'll be anywhere near the £17 price tag, which, unfortunately, makes this 'deal' fairly redundant.

The console companies really need to sort their digital pricing out. When the physical product is consitently higher than the digital, something is out of whack.
I recently bought a Watch_Dogs PC key for £1.12. On Xbox 360 the physical version is £18 new in Game, ir £10 pre-owned - and I bet you can get it cheaper elsewhere. It's still going for £24.99 on the Xbox store.

Agreed, there's not enough incentive to go digital. Games take too long to download, on PS4 especially thanks to Sony's useless network, and they always cost more than their physical counterpart.
If they reduced digital prices and allowed me to pre-load every game, I'd go all digital straight away.
