Fruit Ninja Being Made into a Live Action Movie
Movie the industry seem to be grasping at straws now. With the recent announcement of a Tetris movie, you'd think that'll be enough, but you'd be wrong. As according to The Hollywood Reporter, Fruit Ninja, the popular fruit slicing touch-screen game for mobile devices, is being adapted into a live-action family movie.
Details are a little sparse, but what we do know is that the script is being penned by J.P. Lavin and Chad Damiani; who recently have adapted another bizarre feature film - How to Survive a Garden Gnome Attack. And it'll be produced by Tripp Vinson under his Vinson FIlms banner.
With over a billion downloads on iOS, Fruit Ninja is the second most downloaded app of all time behind Candy Crush Saga. With the surprise of The Angry Birds movie maybe a knocking up a movie version of Fruit Ninja wouldn't be stretch after all.
