Heists Coming to Grand Theft Auto Online in 2015

Co-op Heists are coming to Grand Theft Auto: Online according to a post on Rockstar's newswire.

Grand Theft Auto: Online heists will require you and up to four friends to plan and prepare heists as well as fulfilling specific roles at each point of the multiple-objective job. This then leads into what Rockstar are billing as an 'epic finale'.

As well as the heists themselves, players will have access to brand new: vehicles, weapons, clothing and much more. For more information, have see what Rockstar had to say, in the mean time watch the trailer above.

Although no official date is confirmed, you can expect to be robbing banks with your friends sometime in 2015.

To be honest, I've only ever dipped my foot in at the very beginning, before it all went wrong! You don't have to mix with the kids if you don't want to, free roam is fun enough... Heists sound even better, would rather do it with mates than randoms though

@[1259724386:Benedict Daniels] I can imagine, online has had a host of problems. I can't imagine many will want to plan the heists with the community, especially when their is specific roles... but of course it wouldn't be online gaming without angry kids shouting at you! ;)

@[539584607:Dom D'Angelillo] well, 1. i can imagine the return on Heists *should* be much more than the run-of-the-mill missions. if it isn't, then they've broken it already, and 2. in theory, the 12 year olds probably won't go as much for the co-operative side of things. still, could do with a proper reputation system in GT:O to weed out the scrotes.

This is the only thing that will get me back in GTA:O. Crews now come into their own and its the game we wanted from day one.

"I know you've been complaining, but you weren't ready." - an in-universe excuse for heists taking so long to come out.

seems like this is what a lot of players are saying, something new to GTA:O was needed by the sounds of it

Not long now mate... just over a month. Have you stayed in media blackout or do you know all the story stuff?

I've managed to avoid most spoilers. I know the main characters and I know the premise but that's it.
