Jingle Cells Coming to The Escapists

Yes, it's Christmas, and ever in prison, everyone is getting jolly and looking forward to the season ahead. The world of The Escapists is no exception to this rule either, with the pixelated inhabitants of the in-game prisons just as excited for the arrival of saint nick as the rest of us.

The festive season last year saw free DLC in the form of Santa's Sweatshop, and this year, we are getting another free update for Team 17's prison break title. The DLC will be named Jingle Cells and comes out on the 8th of December across all platforms.

Following on from last year’s release, our daring escapee elf unfortunately lost control of their sleigh mid-flight and was forced to make an emergency landing – right in the middle of the grounds of the Jingle Cells prison! Stuck doing hard time again, if you want to get home in time for the holidays you’ll need to sneak around the brand new wintery themed prison sourcing the unique items and crafting supplies that you’ll need to repair the sleigh and make another break for it!
