Killing Floor 2 Finally Lets Loose The Zed Horde

Tripwire Interactive have unleashed the Zed Horde as Killing Floor 2 has finally left Early Access and is now available on PC via Steam and PSN for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Pro owners.

The sequel to the wildly successful original keeps all the frenetic combat and larger than life enemies and setting but ramps up the graphics and might also have a bit more blood and gore added to the proceedings.

Taking place one month after the original Killing Floor the outbreak has spread rapidly across Europe and civilisation is in disarray: communications have failed, governments have collapsed and the military has been eradicated.

So it's up to your band of civilian misfits and mercenaries to combat the outbreak. You can play up to six-player co-op or in single player as well as partake in the games "Versus Survival" mode which sees two teams of six duke it out playing Humans versus Zeds.

The game is optimised for PlayStation Pro and features 1800p checkerboard rendering on 4K TVs outputting at 3200x1800 resolution. Through an HDTV you get effective supersampling and an increased framerate.

Killing Floor 2 is out now as both physical and digital editions. On PC via Steam for $29.99/$19.99/€26.99 or as a digital deluxe edition for $39.99/£29.99/€39.99 and physically for PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Pro for $39.99/£29.99/€39.99.
