Klei Are Bringing The Childhood Game, Hot Lava to PC

Everyone remembers the game you played as a kid where you'd try to traverse a room, playground or other place without touching the floor, whether you used to call it Hot Lava or not. Klei Entertainment are bringing that fear of the floor to their next title, helpfully titled Hot Lava.

Klei, the developers of Don't Starve, Invisible Inc., Mark of the Ninja and other well-loved titles are known for their unique 2D art style, sharp angular character designs blended with a rich aesthetic all of their own; however, this time around they are moving into the third dimension.

Hot Lava is a first-person platformer where you have to navigate environments without touching the floor; it's hot lava you see. The trailer shows off the game's environments and aesthetic as well as how it all flows.

Currently the title is scheduled for release on PC and you can register for the beta over at the official site here.
