Kojima Picks Guerilla's Engine For Death Stranding
If you have just landed on Planet Earth, been under a rock for a few years or suffer from short term memory loss we thought we'd bring you up to date. Kojima is making a new game - and he's just found it's engine.
After leaving Konami after months of mysterious ongoings, the mad scientist behind the Metal Gear franchise has joined up with Sony to create brand new IP. Death Stranding is the name and well, here's some information and footage - make of it what you will.
With a global search for an engine taking place over the course of the past 12-months, a PSX panel was the place to finally announce the news everybody was waiting for. Death Stranding will run on Guerilla's Decima Engine, used for their upcoming title Horizon: Zero Dawn.
On top of this, Kojima Productions has also set up a small satellite team, based in Amsterdam to work alongside Guerrilla is in the game's development.
With that put to bed, you can now all return into hibernation for the next three years before Death Stranding's inevitable 2019-2020 release date.
