Make Twice as Much Money and RP This Weekend in GTA Online

In a celebration of American Independence Day (no, not the Will Smith film) Rockstar are offering double RP and GTA$ between now and 6th July, going through the Independence weekend. 

The American dream will be very apparent as Rockstar are launching the Independence Day Online Event Playlist where you can make twice as much money as normal events. These events feature patriotic-themed GTA Online Jobs including Americana (Parachuting), GTA: Land of the Free (Capture), and Mud, Sweat and Gears (Land Race).

All GTA Online jobs will also receive double RP through this weekend. 

Of course, it wouldn't be a true independence without things that go *bang* and in America, that doesn't always mean fireworks. Retailers throughout Los Santos and Blaine County will this week will be offering discounts on their Independence Day inventory, including the aptly named Firework Rocket Launcher, The Liberator monster truck, Sovereign motorcycle and a host of red, white and blue gear. 

Just remember, you're protected by the 2nd Amendment!
