Marvel Ultimate Alliance Re-Release Coming

Marvel Ultimate Alliance Re-Release Coming

Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 are getting a re-release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One later this week. The announcement comes from Marvel games panel at San Diego Comic-Con.

Much like any other HD release of an old title both versions released back in 2006 and 2009. Both will receive a number improvements, but the core gameplay will remain the same. These include graphically upgrades, UI enhancements and performance improvements.

Both games are similar in fashion to Diablo, they're top-down action RPG's with a huge roaster of superheroes. You can team up with up to four heroes and take down villains in a epic scaled comic book adventure.

Both titles will be available digitally on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam starting on the 26th July 2016 for $39.99 each or in a bundle with both titles for $59.99.

This re-release and revival of the series could also hint at Marvel games releasing another game in the franchise. Marvel.com asked executive producer Mike Jones and he had this to say:

“Following the footsteps of a proud Marvel tradition, I’ll say: Anything is possible, True Believers!”

FFS, How Much?

For almost NO work on the developers part.

Getting to feel pretty ripped of with these "Re-Masters" now...

TBH< an Ultimate Alliance 3 woud have been a beeter option, imho any way..

Activision like doing this. Just look at Deadpool and the two Prototype titles.

You're right, all of the hard work has been done, they just need to HD up the graphics...

I really enjoyed the originals, and even if they are low effort ports I'm looking forward to playing them again. Especially if it leads to a Marvel: UA3!

Seems they have royally screwed the pooch with them.

Nothing but awful reviews on Steam.

Massively dissapointed, though not entirely surprised...
