Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain PC Release Brought Forward

Konami have announced that the PC version of upcoming Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has been brought forward and will be available alongside the console release on September 1st. 

Originally due on 15th September, two weeks after console gamers, this is great news for all PC gamers out there. Better yet, is that if you pre-purchase from Steam you'll get a free copy of Ground Zeroes, the stand-alone precursor to The Phantom Pain. And those who have recently bought a new Nvidia graphics card as The Phantom Pain is now bundled with purchases of a GTX 980 Ti, 980, 970, or 960

In the meantime, you can see if your PC is up to scratch by checking out the system requirements below:

OS: Windows 7x64, Windows 8x64 (64-bit OS Required)
Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 (3.40 GHz) or better; Quad-core or better
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 650 (2GB) or better (DirectX 11 card Required)
DirectX: Version 11
Hard Drive: 28 GB available space
Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 (3.60GHz) or better; Quad-core or better
Memory: 8 GB RAM

Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card (Surround Sound 5.1)

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is available 1st September for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
