Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has No Multiplayer

A tweet from the Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor's twitter account has confirm that the game crafted in the depths of Tolkein's Lord of the Rings universe and due to appear on our PCs and consoles sometime this year will be a purely single-player experience.

@TobiasKarlsson_ Alas, no co-op. Shadow of Mordor is being crafted wholly as a single-player experience.

So prepare yourselves for a solo journey, because, unlike a certain little hobbit, you will be traversing the hills of Gondor, and the treacherous landscapes of Mordor all on your lonesome. At least you won't have to share your lembas bread.
