More Free DLC coming to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

CD Projekt Red have finally finished and release the immense Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt and as promised, there will be 16 pieces of DLC available for free. We got our first patch upon release the Temerian Armour Set and Beard and Hairstyle Set.

Now, we'll be getting the next batch this week. Which are: A contract called: Missing Miners and an alternative look for Yennefer.

witcher3dlc4The details of the free DLC from CD Projekt Red are as follows:

CONTRACT: MISSING MINERS - Miners from a small Skellige village are disappearing. Investigate and find out what's happening!

ALTERNATIVE LOOK FOR YENNEFER - Check out this entirely new look for the mighty sorceress Yennefer of Vengerberg!

And that's not all, as promised this merely batch two of a total of 16 free pieces of DLC coming to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Its CD Projekt Red's thank you for all those who purchased the game.

For those interested in bigger content (not that The Wild Hunt isn't already brimming with content) there will be two large expansion packs on there way too, which offers 30-hours additional gameplay. They're both available as part of a Season Pass purchasable on GOG.com or Steam.

Does anybody know how I use the bits of DLC I already have? I've got the alternative armour and the beard or whatever, but I can't seem to change it anywhere?

Not sure on Steam but, if your using GOG Galaxy make sure you've enabled them under Extras. The armour can be bought from the trader right at the start, the one you save from the griffin and the hairstyles are from any barber.

From GOG:

Installing the free DLC:

Here is how you can grab and install your new DLC in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Add the 16 FREE DLC Program to your account from its product page. It's just like buying a game.

If you're using GOG Galaxy:--Select The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt from the sidebar to open its game page.--Click on the drop-down labeled "More", (located next to the PLAY button) and choose "Configure".--The Configure page will feature all available DLCs listed towards the bottom.--Select each DLC that you want to install, and GOG Galaxy will do the rest.

If you want to remove the DLC from your game, simply uncheck the selection box.

If you're using the website:

You can download installers for each DLC pack manually. Simply head to the Library section of My Account, locate The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, and download the files you want. Afterwards, run each one as if you were installing a game or patch.

As Calmine mentioned Bram has the armor (the first merchant you meet/save). He's not far off the Woesong Bridge fast travel sign in White Orchard.
