Nacon's Alpha Pad Indiegogo Campaign Underway
You will likely recall our report last week on the Nacon GS-400ES, aka The Alpha Pad. The controller is a dedicated eSports gamepad, designed to be used with all PC games, not just ones that have a native controller support. With its unique ability to emulate a kayboard and mouse, it can be used for games where the controller isn't normally an option. The Indiegogo crowd-funding campaign for the device is now underway.
The device is designed very much like Nacon's other high end PC gaming peripherals, with a great deal of attention to detail. Features that you would normally see on gaming mouses are abundant. This includes removable weights to get the controller just right for your hands, ultra responsive buttons and a removable, braided USB cable.
Nacon have enlisted the help of the French eSports Acadamy and world champion Norman Chatrier, aka GEN1US. They are hoping that with the backing of big names in the world of eSports, they can reach their funding goal of $30,000. At the time of writing, they are nearly 20% of the way there already and with another 25 days left, there's still time to get yourself one of the controllers for $59.
