New Screenshots Unveiled for Dark Souls III

On the 16th of April, you'll get your butt handed to you all over again in the latest installment of the renowned hard-as-nails fighter. With Hidetaka Miyazaki back at the helm, this is one of the most eagerly awaited games of the year. DARK SOULS III will be available for Windows, PS4, and Xbox One.

So far, we've seen only a small amount of the game, with two official trailers and some art. We know the release date and the details of the special editions but we've seen only a small amount of gameplay. FromSoftware have revealed a small portion more of the game today with a new selection of screenshots. Check out our gallery above to see more details of the Pyromancer, another peek at the High Wall of Lothric and a tonne of shots of the game in action.

I'm hoping Dark Souls 3 is going to be a sleeper hit, Dark Souls 2 fell short of a lot of peoples expectations, I hope 3 can redeem the series.

I don't think the second sequel in a popular series can eve be a "sleeper hit"... That's like saying Captain America: Civil War might be a hit...

I think a lot of people aren't expecting much out of Dark Souls 3, due to how dissapointing the last one was. Hence why I hoped it would actually be a sleeper hit. I probably should have used a different term though

I'd say that knowing that Miyazaki has worked in this one and that Blodborne was great, people are very excited about this one.

I agree... Dark Souls II was not very good... and @VodKaVK says with Hidetaka Miyazaki being back involved again, hopefully it will be "good" again. Does anyone know if he is directing and producing again? All I heard so far is that he is directing. Would love to interview him before the game comes out, I have some questions I would like to know myself.

I'm so excited for this I could puke.

Now, when I rage quit Bloodborne, I can play DS3, until I rage quit and play Bloodborne. Until I possibly go insane.
