Overwatch Officially Launched On Console and PC

After having a really successful test period becoming Blizzard Entertainment's biggest open beta ever, the team-based first-person shooter Overwatch has officially launched on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One!

The shooter features a diverse cast of 21 heroes ranging from the rather brilliant gorilla scientist Winston; the noble bow wielding Hanzo; the time-jumping Tracer to the robotic zen-like master of support Zenyatta.

The game has a selection of game modes including the standard Quick Play and Custom Game options whilst including a versus AI option for practice and taking a leaf from Hearthstone there is a Weekly Brawl to offer up unique challenges each week. A Competitive Play mode will be available shortly after launch. With Blizzard supporting the game with free new maps and heroes over time.

Overwatch is available today on PC from £29.99 digitally via Blizzard's own Battle.net Store. It's also available both physically and digitally on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One from £44.99 as an Origins Edition that also has 5 hero skins and other goodies.
