Party Hard Story Mode Trailer
We've all had those noisy neighbours, the kind that make you want to unleash a homicidal rage. The "Andrew W.K on amphetamines" type, you know where we're going with this right?
tinyBuild game and Pinokl Games are bringing to Steam a former Game Jam game by the name of Party Hard. Pinokl Games used to make family friendly casual games, until they decided to participate in a game jam. The result was a viral video game prototype. It was after playing the prototype that tinyBuild partnered up with Pinokl to bring Party Hard as a fully fleshed out game to Steam and consoles.
The game features the following:
- A dozen semi-procedural levels, following a murder spree through the USA
- Unlockable characters including a ninja
- gang behaviour, people will gang up on you if you're aggressive in a crowd
- firemen will come in case of fire
- paramedics will come to collect dead bodies
- in case of gang violence, explosions, robberies, or other extreme chaos -- a SWAT team will come and sort things out
- agents will secure the area, soldiers will knock anyone out who is in their way
- in case of drugs, DEA will come and attempt to arrest everyone in sight
- there are occasional shady dealers whom you can buy things from
- levels are now semi-procedural, they will have random events happen, slightly different layouts
- AI treats you the same way as other AI characters
- more interesting AI behaviours - going for a smoke, joining the dance floor in case of gogo dancers, etc.
- rare special events
- special items, including a bomb
It's due to hit Steam on 25th of August, but you can play the prototype here.
