Shallow Space: Insurgency Launching Into Alpha

Shallow Space: Insurgency Launching Into Alpha

Indie studio Special Circumstance Games have announced that their 3D space combat RTS game, Shallow Space: Insurgency has moved into its alpha stage and is on track for an Early Access launch sometime this Autumn.

The development has progressed steadily being Greenlit by the Steam community within six days. The team behind Shallow Space: Insurgency are now on their way towards launching a crowdfunding campaign in early April using Indiegogo. Founder of Special Circumstance Games had this to say about the game's development:

“Inspired by iconic space simulations, such as Homeworld and Nexus: The Jupiter Incident and after been Greenlit on Steam within six days, we are excited to announce that Shallow Space: Insurgency is now in alpha and progressing well, through to the next stage of its interstellar development”

“We’re looking forward to kicking off our crowdfunding campaign that we will launch in early April, and after that we’ll be working day and night to get Shallow Space: Insurgency ready for Early Access”.

Shallow Space: Insurgency has players taking command of a massive fleet of spacecraft which can be customised. Battles have crafts being placed into 'Wings' and 'Flotilla' which help the fleet with operations including, attack, hull damage and repair, shield damage and more.

Shallow Space: Insurgency is scheduled for an Early Access release on PC, Mac and Linux through Steam this Autumn.
