Sony Apologises for Losing Limited Edition Winners

Bad news for Japanese winners of the limited edition 20th anniversary Sony PlayStation 4's that were released late last year...

Because Sony have announced that they managed to delete the list of over one hundred people who won, with no hopes of recovering it.

They are asking all winners to send in the code that was with the promotional calendar they received when they purchased a Sony console (PS3, Vita, PS4), so they can win again. If they have disposed of the code, fear not, as they will also accept the serial number of your console and some other bits.

They are also quick to assure that this was not due to a hack or leak, just bad luck.
