System Shock Remake Kickstarter is Away

Nightdive Studios have announced their Kickstarter campaign for their remake of the classic sci-fi FPS/RPG System Shock. 

The team at Nightdive Studios have gone all out in crafting reboot of the classic game, the studio is lead by industry veterans as well as members of the original System Shock team. Many of the developers of the team have worked on Fallout, Tomb Raider, Skyrim and Wasteland. Not only that the remake also stands as a reboot of the franchise, with a complete re-envision of the original release built on the latest Unity Engine. 

Their Kickstarter is up and they're asking for $900,000 (currently at $114,467 at the time of writing), which is rather steep, but considering the hype and the media attention they might just hit their goal. 

To sweeten the deal, everyone can have their chance to play right now with a pre-alpha demo, which is available from their Kickstarter page for Steam, GOG and Humble Store.
