Tanki ‘Battle of the Rusty Barrels’ Tournament Begins Friday

The Battle of Rusty Barrels has returned, seeing a team of the two best from the developers battling it out against three pairs of players. The competition will be streamed live on Twitch on Friday from 1700hrs Zulu (6pm BST for you non-military civilians).

Representing Tanki Online will be Lead Game Designer Vladimir Kovtun, and German Community Manager Valery Schumann. They will fight the three other teams chosen from the main Tanki Online communities: England, Russia and Germany, in two-vs-two matches, where the winner (and their supporters) will win a great prize. Crystals (in-game currency)!

The teams will be picked at random on Wednesday 3rd September, followed by two new paint jobs coming into the garage. Players can purchase a paint for 1,000 crystals and the proceeds will get put into the prize pot. If you choose the colour of the winning team, you get to share in their victory! 

What's more, the more people that watch the stream, the bigger the prize gets!

20,000 viewers — prize pool gets multiplied by 2
30,000 viewers — prize pool gets multiplied by 3
40,000 viewers — prize pool gets multiplied by 4
50,000 viewers — prize pool gets multiplied by 5
