Terraria 1.3 Changelog

The developers of action-adventure game Terraria have detailed the changes and improvements in their upcoming patch.

The 2D sandbox title, developed by Re-Logic, released four years ago to generally positive reviews, and we liked it quite a bit. 

The game is available on a multitude of different platforms and still maintains a healthy audience.

A few of the aforementioned changes include:

• Town NPCs now sit, avoid monsters, socialize, avoid sitting near chests, and fight back against threats!
• You can now join multiplayer games through Steam.
• Steam Cloud saving is now available.
• Achievements are now available through Steam and in game.
• You can now toggle Screen Capture mode by pressing F1. This allows for taking much larger screenshots in game.
• There are several new appearance options available during character creation.
• Worlds now keep track of how many enemies have been killed and reward banners for every 50 kills.
• The game will now tell you how much money you dropped upon death.
• The player’s last death location is now shown on the map, aiding the retrieval of lost money and/or items.
• Bosses now have minimap icons.
• Revamped liquid networking code to be much less laggy in multiplayer.

It's worth noting that developer Re-Logic have stated that not every change might make its way into the next patch, but perhaps that's understandable given its enormity.
