The Division Beta sets Record for Players

The hype is real as Tom Clancy's The Division has set a new record for most players on a beta of a new IP of this generation. 

With 6.4 million players across all platforms, Ubisoft certainly have reason to celebrate. To put in perspective last years Destiny beta was played by 4.6 million players - which was available for last and current gen console owners, expect PC which The Division was.

Ubisoft have also gone on to provide some neat little tidbits regarding the beta. According to their stats: on average, players spent around five hours as their agent and spent almost half that time in the Dark Zone with 50% of players going rogue.
