The Witcher 3's First Expansion Gets a Release Date

CD Projekt Red have announced the release date for the first expansion pack to their wildly successful The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Launching 13th October, Hearts of Stone sees our trusted professional monster slayer, Geralt of Rivia take on the task to defeat a ruthless bandit captain, Olgierd von Everec. Featuring more than 10 hours of content, the new expansion will also see Geralt tackle new creatures, meet new characters in a new story line full of choices and consequences. You don't need to have finished the main story to play the expansion, but you do need to be at least level 30. 

Hearts of Stone is included as part of the game's season pass and available digitally, but for those who wish to go all out can get a special limited boxed edition exclusively (unfortunately) from GAME. The box contains the digital code for the expansion and two physical decks of Gwent cards. You'll also get a detailed set of rules for Gwent and two unique cards.
