Update: Nintendo's NX Being Unveiled This Week With Beyond Good and Evil 2 Exclusive?

Rumours are getting stronger that Nintendo's next console will be unveiled via Nintendo Direct on the 21st of October. British newspaper The Express, French website Gameblog and tech site itechpost are all reporting that the console will be unveiled in the coming days.

Alongside the console, it's strongly rumoured that Ubisoft's long-awaited sequel Beyond Good and Evil 2, will be an exclusive to the machine. The first game was a huge hit on the GameCube so it wouldn't be a huge stretch to imagine that Nintendo want a high profile third-party exclusive for their new console.

There are also a number of sources suggesting that the console will feature streaming to the TV in a manner similar to the Amazon Fire Stick or Google Chromecast. This would fit in with the portable and home console hybrid suggestions that we have already seen about the console.

At this stage, all we have to go on is rumours, but we do know that retailers have been promised their demo units in February, ahead of a planned March launch for the new device.
