World of Warcraft Introduces Selfies & Picture Filters

In World of Warcraft Patch 6.1, players can complete a rare quest to obtain the "S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera" which allows players to take pictures and use Instagram-based filters.

To get the camera, players need to complete a rare quest, which is to take photographs of everything they can in the area of Nagrand. Alongside this, they can complete quests to get items like the S.E.L.F.I.E. Lens Upgrade or S.E.L.F.I.E. Camera MkII, which adds filters similar to those on Instagram to be added into photographs.

For the in-game item, players can focus on the characters face, pull expressions as-well as controlling the camera to point in different directions to get pretty scenes behind the user. Players can upload their pictures to social networking sites such as Twitter, using the /share command which was also implemented in the recent patch, allowing people to upload items, achievements and screenshots from in-game.
