Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Mistakes and How to Counter Them

It is normal to make mistakes and errors as you learn and play any game. When you check comments and reviews on many CS GO betting sites, you realise that commenters have gone wrong while playing at some point. You learn from your mistakes. In that spirit, let’s look at the common mistakes players make and how to avoid them.

1. Giving your teammates wrong information

Giving my teammates wrong information is a common mistake made by many. I did it too because I used to panic. Fake attacks are very common in this game since it is meant to play with your mind.

Before you give your teammates any information, ensure that it is accurate. Otherwise, you will only be giving your opponents an easy win.

2. Holding your crosshairs facing downwards

When playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, always have your crosshair facing the enemy’s head and not the legs. Mastering this enables you to shoot as you run since the weapon is steady. Although it is easier to hold it the wrong way, especially when running, it is a mistake you must avoid.

This game is all about critical thinking and reacting fast. Holding your crosshair upright helps you save on those seconds you could waste adjusting your shots. It helps you react fast and stay ahead of your competitors.

3. Using a long weapon that peeks over the corners

The secret to winning is always catching your enemy by surprise. However, you risk being seen and killed by your enemy when you leave your weapon peeking at the corner. This, for me, is the stupidest way to get yourself killed.

To avoid this, know where to point your weapon when standing at angles or in corners. It is one of the mistakes that even professionals make. Be careful not to ever disclose your location or position to the enemy.

4. Don’t rush into battle with the bomb

When you step into the battle site with the bomb, you are giving the CTs a good time since they can easily take you down. When with the bomb, you can pass it to your teammate or leave it in a safe place before going into battle. This technique is used by many pros, and it is very successful.

5. Doing your math wrong

Numbers do matter here. Doing proper calculations is the only way you can ensure that you have the best weapons throughout the game. Learn to limit impulsive buying and save your money. Without enough money, your chances of winning are literally next to zero.

6. Consistent flashing of your teammates

No matter how advantageous flashing may seem to you, you need to understand that sometimes it can expose you to your opponents. Instead of flashing your teammates, flash your opponents as it will surprise them, and then you can attack.

Flashing your teammates may end up exposing their positions. It will make your opponents win easily, which should not be the case. Although this technique may work just fine for you, it is high time you stopped using it.

If you want to become a pro in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, you must keenly analyze these mistakes and learn how to avoid them. Once you do this, you can explore appropriate CS GO bets and become a professional player. However, it is going to take time before you can become a top-level competitor in this game.

Once you learn how to avoid these mistakes, you will become invincible in this game.
