How Does the Energy System Work in Disney Dreamlight Valley and Is It Annoying?

So you heard Disney Dreamlight Valley has an energy system and are confused (and perhaps a bit scared) about how it works? Worry not! I've played it for countless hours and am here to calm your worries!

Although there are many different things to do in the game to keep you occupied, most of them deplete your energy (such as mining, fishing, and clearing thorns). You will more likely than not constantly be doing one or more of them, so you'll run out of energy often (especially during the early game), but worry not, as it can easily be refilled through eating something or going back home!

Although that might sound a bit tedious, there's always something to eat wherever you go, so it's very easy to just forage and eat to fill the bar up or even just keep some stocked up in your inventory. Additionally, if you're into roleplay, you can also go through the motions of cooking a full meal too or even go back home to rest! If you go to your house, the bar refills instantly; although this one takes a bit longer than just eating fruit, it's still quite easy to do, thanks to fast travel. And, depending on where you've placed your house, it's never too far.

Regardless, the more you level up, the bigger the bar becomes, so it's really only in the early game that you'll have to constantly refill the energy. And that's it! Once you get the hang of it, it really just becomes part of the game, but I never thought it was anything game-breaking.
