If It Was Real: Camera Angles

It's not uncommon for me to use different camera angles to give me some form of an advantage, the latest of which being in The War Z where I would switch to a third-person to see around corners or what's behind me. Well, what if you could do this in real life? What do you think you could do with it? Well, luckily for you, you don't have to think of any ways because we've done that for you (it's what we're paid for).

Seeing behind you
The obvious first choice would be seeing what is around you. You could switch to a different camera angle whilst walking down the street giving you greater visibility of your surroundings and making you feel a lot safer. You could also doss off (that does not say toss) at work fairly easily by being able to look around to see who was watching you or if your boss was coming.
Downside

Whilst you're scanning your surroundings in various camera angles, you have a choice of either stop moving or carry on walking. If you stop moving, it somewhat defeats the purpose of your newly found function as it saves no time and makes you more of a target. If you carry on walking, Sod's law dictates that you would hit something. You also couldn't see your screen at the same time as looking around for your boss. I mean, what is this, a game?

No mirrors required
Have you seen the price of a bit of glass and metal these days? It's madness! Some people like to have mirrors as a decorative piece and that's their call but personally, I use a mirror for the sole purpose of seeing if I look okay, forget all this "it makes the room look bigger" malarky. With a quick switch to a free third-person camera I could do a 360 sweep of myself and see that everything is as it should be.
Downside
Downside? There is no downside! I don't want to fork out for some sand and rock!

Multi-tasking
Have you ever had a really dull one-sided conversation with somebody? You know the ones where they're just talking at you and filling in your bits by answering their own questions? Yeah, those. Well, why not throw on either a free third-person or even a free cam and watch TV. You wouldn't get any sound but what do you think subtitles were made for?
Downside
If the person in question decides to actually include you in the conversation, you best be listening whilst watching TV just so you can jump back at the appropriate time.

Perving
Girlfriend Disclaimer: I have never and will never partake in this act, it is purely an example.
If you see somebody who takes your fancy in the street, you don't necessarily want to freak them out by staring or offend the person you're with so instead, just flip around the camera and watch them walk away.
Downside
This is the same as with the first one, you're bound to walk into things. What you could do is if you're with somebody, link arms with them and they're guide you like the blind, sex-riddled puppy you are.

Wide angle
Sometimes your puny human view just isn't enough. Sometimes it's nice to take a step back and put things into perspective (or in this case, bring them into view). The thing is, if you step back, you can't necessarily partake in the act you were taking part in (for instance gaming and watching your children at the same time). Flip on the third-person camera and happily keep your children in your now-widened peripherals whilst you happily play Farmville or whatever game parents play nowadays.
Downside
If you're multitasking like this, it's harder to focus on one task. Also, with this wider view, there's more to look at and get distracted by.

These are just the things that we would do with some new camera angles, what would you do? Let us know in the comments.
