Things I Would Like to See Come to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Part Two
Welcome to my second edition on what I want Nintendo to add to Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp! Without further ado, here are the other eight things I want to see added or changed.
1) Stop animal interactions
One of the most frustrating things is having a cool item like the medieval armor stand or a cute snowman lamp, and the animals standing there for hours on end touching it, looking at it, turning it on, etc... I actually really like when animals interact with items but sometimes I wish I could stop them.
2) Mirroring of items
Sometimes Nintendo gives you the same item twice in one of the events, like this bookshelf they gave recently. I personally like that they give several items because I sometimes use the same one over and over, or have ideas for both the camp and the cabin. But if they added something simple like mirroring then maybe some of these items would be even better!
3) More furniture for the walls
I am going to be honest with you, I don't like the cabin much. I think the space is limited, I think the wallpapers Nintendo puts out are awful, and overall it's just not as good as the camp. But whenever I do try to decorate it I find myself frustrated with the lack of nice items I can put on the walls. Just look at how awkwardly empty it is!
4) Better wallpapers
I am constantly so disappointed with the wall options Nintendo puts out. Not because they're ugly, but the opposite — they're so pretty, but so repetitive. Repetition isn't always bad. But maybe they could put a little more effort so that some of them don't look so... fake.
5) Let us see what we’re going to get for quarry
It’s very stressful to ask for the quarry and get the entry but think that maybe the second option will be better, just to find out that the second quarry option was actually just mats you already have plenty of. It’d be nice to have some sort of way to tell what’s going to be available that day!
6) More cabin space
For some reason, the cabin has this ginormous gap between the door and the part that actually has decoration. I don't know about everyone else but it drives me insane that there's that awkward gap, especially if I use things like coat hangers; they're not supposed to be in the middle of the room!
7) Easier editing in preview mode
Some clothing items look so good with different hair colours or hairstyles, but you can't easily check. You have to leave the preview, go into edit character mode, change the hair/face, and go back to preview just to go out again when you want to see another hair or face!
8) Ability to use items from bag
Similarly to the last point, it drives me insane when I am already in preview mode and then I remember I have an item that would go great with this and I have to go out, then change, and then back into the preview. It's weird because these things are already in my inventory and bag, it should be easier to access.
And that's it for now! These are just some things I've thought about while playing the game. Regardless, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp has come a long way since the beginning with great features being added. It's just kind of sad to search on Google "cabin camera angle Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp" and then see messages from three years ago saying they hope Nintendo adds it.
