19 Years on, Abe Finally Makes it to Nintendo Home Consoles

The Mudokons of Oddworld first hit our screens back in 1997 on the PS1 with Abe's Odyssey.  That title was exclusive to Sony's platform at the time, with Nintendo and Sega being left out. There were a few Game Boy and Game Boy Advance spin-offs, but a full-fledged version for a home console bearing the Nintendo name has been unavailable until now.

With the release of Oddworld: New 'n' Tasty in 2015, Abe's first adventure was brought right up to date. The title was considered ahead of its time in 1997 and this new version put it right back there with updated graphics and sound. The versions on Mac, PC, Linux, PS3, PS4, PS Vita and Xbox One have been available since last year, but now there's a new string to Abe's bow with the recent release of the Wii U version. You can download it from the e-store right now.
