It is time once again for the week long gaming marathon that is all about raising money for charity and playing video games, really fast.

Awesome Games Done Quick is back and ahead of its 7th January, 2018 start date, the complete schedule has been released. The annual event raised over $2.2 million this year for charity and the aim will be to beat that record in 2018 as well. Looking over the schedule you are bound to find something that will pique your interest even if you are new to speed running events.

Some of the standout titles to watch for include Sunday's run of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim and the Splatoon 2 run as well. Moving to Monday you will find games like Yooka-Laylee and the Mega Man block that runs into the following day. Soon after in the early hours of Tuesday will be the Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater run on European Extreme difficulty with the day rounding up with some Castlevania and Metroid Prime

The week will continue strong into Wednesday with Dying Light, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard and some Battletoads in the evening. Still carrying on you will find Dishonored and Ultima VI: The False Prophet on Thrusday rolling into Friday's early morning run of Prey (2017). This is followed by games such as The End is Nigh, Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition and even Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep Final Mix HD. The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is the first of many great games on 13th Saturday which also has Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos, Final Fantasy IV and Bloodborne. The event will be ending on 14th January with a run of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild completing all main quests with no Amiibo use in just under four hours.

These are just a few of the many different games that will be featured in the event that runs all week. Awesome Games Done Quick 2018 will be running from 7th January through to 14th January. Mark the dates and get ready for a show.
