A King's Tale:Final Fantasy XV Out Now

The visuals in Final Fantasy XV are generally accepted as being stunningly beautiful. The high resolution, detailed graphics are one of the things that has helped to earn the game as much praise as it has been given. So it's a bit of a departure to see A King's Tale: Final Fantasy XV being quite so lo-fi in nature, but the spin-off title is exactly that. 

The game is set 30 years prior to the events of the main game, and it's been created in a pixel art style, aping the games that we were playing 30 years ago ourselves. It stars a younger version of our hero King Regis and his trusty pals Weskham, Cid and Clarus. The title is available now for digital download on Xbox One and PS4 for free, giving a taste of the nostalgic feel of an old-school Final Fantasy game to a new generation of gamers.
