A New Mode "Rumble" Comes to Rocket League

Psyonix have added a new mode for free to Rocket League, the chaotic Rumble mode gives access to 11 randomised power-ups including the "Magnetizer" (that attracts the ball), the Grappling Hook (pulls you towards the ball), the Tornado (sweeps everyone into a giant whirling mess) and more.

The mode joins previous additions, "Hoops" and "Mutator", and will appear in online playlists as well as be available for private and exhibition matches.

Also in the update is an all-new "Crates and Keys" system, which works a lot like the system in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive where crates will randomly drop during matches and players can then purchase keys to open them revealing the goodies within. These goodies include everything from "Import" Battle-Cars and unique animated decals to garage accessories and exotic wheels.

Keys can be purchased individually for $1.49 (or regional equivalent) or in bundles of five, 10 or 20.
