A New Surprise Just Dropped in Bongo Cat — Co-Op and an Exclusive Skin; Watch the Trailer Here!

Developed by Marcel Zurawka and Julius Krüger and published by Irox Games, Bongo Cat is a desktop idler that released back in March of 2025. This charming free-to-play game blew up on Steam, already getting over 30,000 reviews and a 97% Overwhelmingly Positive score from the community!

The premise is quite simple — players will go about their day, and every click of the mouse or tap of a keyboard key will net them points that they can use to get a randomised cosmetic. These items can also be sold on the Steam market, offering a great collecting title for those who love doing so!

The latest update available, cleverly named the Meowtiplayer Update, does what the name implies: it adds a seamless co-op functionality that works surprisingly smoothly. Players can now invite up to 100 others to their lobby, and they can see each other type away, change outfits, and even see when their buddies have chests (and what they got when they claim them)!

There's no need to work with servers, either, as it's all done via Steam. Through a simple Steam Friendslist invite system (or by sharing a code), players can see each other on their screens, tapping away. Additionally, when joining a multiplayer session, they'll be able to claim one of the three new skins: team Strawberry, Pineapple, or Watermelon. Just beware that each player can only claim one of the three!
